Personal Training

I can’t wait to begin working with you in the gym! Each hour long or half hour long workout will be tailored to your specific needs and goals, which could be anything below, or something else specifically that you’re having trouble with:

  • Building muscle, my specialty and primary focus for the last two years of personal training. This has also been my personal goal for the better part of the last 12 years. These plans will focus on only strength gain of the six major muscle groups, and number of repetitions and sets will be tailored to your experience level.
  • Gaining cardio endurance, for heart health, increased blood flow, and circulation. When working on these cardio programs, I will usually pair some light strength activities with cardio endurance activities, as the increased strength will in turn reflect positively on your cardio endurance.
  • Weight loss. These programs that I create are generally more strength focused and focus on burning away fat with the metabolic boost that you get from that wonderful burning feeling in your muscles.
  • Balance and coordination. folks of all ages have come to me for help with balance, but primarily, these folks have been older adults. I absolutely love working with older adults, and enjoy helping them on their road back to a healthier self. These programs can be anywhere from light balance activities, to personalized yoga sessions.

Whatever the program, for each client, I keep a spreadsheet your workouts week by week and make adjustments based off of what results we get from the previous workouts. With any cardio or strength training, I will be watching your form for reducing chances of injury, while increasing the effectiveness of the workout and making sure you are getting full range of motion. 

Pricing

There are never ANY financial contracts when training! Whether we are training for just one or two sessions, or you are working with me for a year, you may feel free to stop training at any time.
